I was looking at changing/updating our TV packages today, and one of the options is to upgrade to "Showtime/Starz". This is an additional $15/mo over the package I'm eying. If BF has at least 3 Showtime shows he wants to watch, that could make it interesting.
I'm mostly eying it because Starz was described to me as a "premium movie" channel and I was thinking of it as a substitute to finally getting Netflixs. I've glanced at some of the April schedules for them, and I'm not seeing the premium appeal.
Does anyone have Starz? Is it worthwhile as a Netflix substitute? Worthwhile on its own (and why)? Is it a waste of money?
